Youthcore - a DHS health information web based resource which is inclusive of SSAY and sexual diversity. Its main aim is that staff feel more confident in addressing issues. It will also contain an online youth health resource (covering areas such as drug and alcohol, sexual health, relationships and mental health) and a direct email link to an appropriate worker. The emphasis and overall rationale is the reduction of barriers, not just for ssayp but all young people, because in rural areas sometimes, for young people,
the barriers are the same regardless of sexual orientation. (online by Sept 2002)

Using the transcripts of these conversations he outlined their concerns and suggestions. Drawing on poststructural theory, Michael sketches a classroom approach designed to promote sexual and gender diversity, and to address homophobic bullying and he argues the merits of supporting young people to embrace uncertainty.
